Using Boomerang Like a Boss

Have you ever sent an email out to someone and never heard back?
When this happens, we just assume that they’re too busy to reply or that they’re not interested.
We start taking their no-reply personally…
But we always forget that they’re very busy too…just like us.
A busy person like a CEO or someone working at a big corporation gets tens or hundreds of emails each day.
Their inbox is FLOODED with emails…
So instead of taking it as a personal rejection, and just giving up…I recommend you follow up.
Today, I want to share with you a Chrome extension that I added to my browser, particularly for Gmail that is perfect for this task.
Increase Your Productivity
Let’s say I get an email from your Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM).
They send me email updates and rather than me responding or having to remember, “Okay, I need to follow up with these guys to make sure that happened”…
I could go into the app, I could say, “Hey, by Friday, we should have this done.”
Rather than me having to follow up with those guys, write it down, create a task from it, I can simply go up to Boomerang, I can say, “Return that in” and on the 20th.
I can then hit confirm, and then the image will be sent to Boomerang. The message will return on Sunday, March 20th at 8am.
Keep Your Inbox Clean
Here a just a few benefits of using Boomerang:
- Boomerang allows me to get these things out of my inbox.
- It keeps my inbox from being extremely cluttered.
- Saves me time and aggravation.
With around 20,000 emails in my main inbox, that’s a great thing! With Boomerang, I don’t lose an email.
I can just click Boomerang. It reminds me. It’ll pop up right to the top of my inbox and I can deal with it then rather than having to figure out what to do with it today.
This is great if you’re busy and you know you need to deal with something, but you don’t need the interruption of handling it right now, or stopping and putting it in your planner.
The free version might be a great place for you to start.
I’ll continue to provide you guys with little hacks and things that make my life easier and less stressful as I’m building and running a business.
What great email hack do you use to become more productive during the day?
Leave it in the comments, I read every single one.
